Job Description

As a Front-end Developer at TJIP, you will play a crucial role in the further digitisation of processes and customer journeys for our clients in the financial services sector. You will be responsible for conceptualising, implementing and maintaining professional software platforms that must seamlessly integrate with our clients' existing processes and systems.
 
In collaboration with our internal or external clients, you will work on realising or improving the user experience. You contribute to the development of innovative software. Together with colleagues specialised in UX and product development, your creative ideas will help create a progressive result. You will also closely collaborate with other colleagues, working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop the best applications.
 
The main responsibilities include:
  • You are responsible for conceptualising, implementing and maintaining professional software platforms that integrate with our clients' processes and systems;
  • You share responsibility for designing and formulating assignments, as well as estimating their time and complexity;
  • You stay updated with the latest developments and share these with your colleagues;
  • You work together with the Product Owner to determine and monitor functional and non-functional requirements.

What we ask:

  • At least a higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking;
  • At least 3 years of programming experience, preferably in a similar role;
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, or the willingness to learn Dutch;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with development in JavaScript/TypeScript;
  • Experience with Front-end frameworks such as Angular and Vuejs is a plus;
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass is a plus;
  • Experience with Test frameworks like Jest and Jasmine is a plus;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum principles;
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative;
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, willingness to continue learning and developing.
