Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in further digitizing the processes and customer journeys of our clients in the financial services industry. You will be responsible for co-designing, implementing, and maintaining professional software platforms that seamlessly integrate with our clients' existing processes and systems. Our work has a significant impact on innovation within the financial services industry. At TJIP, we work with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Azure, providing you with the opportunity elevate your skills and keep growing in the latest technologies.

Additionally, you will work according to Agile and Scrum in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that collaborates to create the best solutions for our clients. You will have the opportunity to express your creativity and make an impact at every step of the software development process.
 
The main tasks include:
  • You will be responsible for co-designing, implementing, and maintaining professional software platforms that align with our clients' processes and systems;
  • You will be jointly responsible for designing and formulating assignments and estimating their time and complexity;
  • You will keep up to date with the latest developments and share them with your colleagues;
  • You will work with the Product Owner to determine and monitor functional and non-functional requirements.

What we ask:

  • University level of education and thinking;
  • At least 3 years of programming experience, preferably in a similar role;
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both oral and written;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in developing in .NET and/or JavaScript/TypeScript;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum principles;
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design and Event Sourcing is a plus;
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development and Continuous Delivery/Deployment is a plus;
  • Experience with Containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus;
  • Capable of working independently and showing own initiative;
  • Flexible and proactive attitude, willingness to continue learning and developing.
