Cloud Engineer at TJIP
We are looking for a colleague who enjoys ensuring systems run smoothly and are designed robustly and efficiently. Ideally, you have experience or a strong interest in Azure cloud engineering, infrastructure as code, authorization and access management, networking fundamentals, and application and database servers. Experience with Kubernetes is highly valuable but we are happy to teach; if you're eager to expand your expertise here, we’ll fully support your growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. You proactively monitor application performance, identify potential issues, and implement or advise on solutions to optimize systems. You stay updated on industry trends and adapt our infrastructure strategies accordingly, ensuring our systems remain resilient, scalable, and secure.
TJIP hosts all its applications in the cloud, primarily using Microsoft Azure (Linux & Windows VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service). Experience with Azure is preferred, though familiarity with other cloud platforms is also valuable. You will collaborate closely with software development teams, managing the DevOps workflows and ensuring smooth application releases.
As TJIP holds ISO27001 and SOC2 certifications, you'll contribute to designing and managing systems that reliably meet our compliance requirements. Your role involves both advisory and hands-on responsibilities, building dependable infrastructure solutions aligned with these standards.
